Music

Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.

Chancel Choir

Christians have long worshiped God through music. It is part of the Presbyterian tradition and is an integral part of our worship services at Manitowish Waters Community Church. If you are a singer, bell ringer, instrumentalist, organist, pianist, etc., we encourage you to share your musical talents with us.

In addition to our choir and bell choir, we enjoy and encourage offerings of special music by our members and guests.

The choir meets for rehearsal one hour prior to the 9:30 AM Sunday service and then sings at the service. Members, visitors, and guests are all welcome to "sing God’s praises" with one voice. Please join us on Sunday morning for rehearsal and the service to follow.

Bell Choir

Praise the lord with timbrels and bells! We don't have many tambourines, but we do have the Bells.

Our bell choir is so popular that we set aside practice time for all our ringers on a weekly basis on Wednesdays at 1:00pm. We perform at Sunday service as the choir- Angelus - to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Angelus, now two years old, currently plays on two octaves of Melmark bells purchased through the generosity of our parishioners and friends. Directed by Joan Galloway, Angelus is a great place to learn the joy of pealing to the glory of God.

Come join us. Summer visitors are welcome to fill in since music doesn't take the summer off in our church. That's when we thrive!
