Theme: “Loose Cannons”
A Prayer for the Pandemic
May we who are inconvenienced remember whose lives are at stake.
May we who have no risk factors, remember those most vulnerable.
May we who are working from home, remember those who must choose between preserving their health or making their rent.
May we who have the flexibility to care for our children when their schools close, remember those who have no options.
May we who have to cancel our trips, remember those who have no place to go.
May we who are losing our margin money in the tumult of the economic market, remember those who have no margin at all.
May we who settle in for quarantine at home, remember those who have no home.
During this time when we cannot physically wrap our arms around eachother, let us find ways to be the loving embrace of God to our neighbors. Amen Interfaith Hospitality Network-Cincinati, Ohio

A message from Pastor Chips about worship this fall
Dear Church Members and other Friends,
For the safety of our congregation, the Session decided to continue our “Safer at Home” virtual format until the end September 2020. I miss seeing your faces, however, given the breadth and variety of license plates one sees on the highways and byways, and the inherent risks of group gatherings, particularly in meetings such as worship services, caution seems appropriate. Until a vaccine for the COVID19 virus is available, we are trying to provide you with an excellent virtual experience online, and we are continually trying to improve the services. When safe to do so, to provide broader access to our services, along with our regular worship service, we also plan on continuing some version of the online experience following the present coronavirus challenges. I have recently begun burning videos of the service for persons without the ability to view the services on the internet platforms. If you are aware of individuals needing this ministry, please let me or one of the deacons know, and we will seek to accommodate your needs.
Gratefully yours, your pastor,
