Worship with us!

Each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM

Whether you are a member or a visitor, join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30am to worship our Lord Jesus Christ, learn God's word from scripture, and join in song and prayer.   We truly value and encourage visitors.

Our congregation strives to make all feel welcome.   People come dressed as they choose, from somewhat dressy to outdoors casual.   Greeters will hand you a helpful bulletin for following along in the service and learning about our church life.  After each worship service, we offer a fellowship time with coffee, juice, and cookies for all.

Communion is served during the first Sunday of each month.   Our communion table is open for all to partake.

Children are especially welcome during our Sunday worship service.  Our Pastor  invites children to the altar for a weekly lesson created to illustrate his sermon for all.  We also provide children's bulletins and worship activity cloth bags for children to use during the service.

Come visit and join us whenever you can!   We have even more to offer individuals and families at the Manitowish Waters Community Presbyterian Church beyond our Sunday worship service.

Bell Choir

The Bell Choir meets for practice on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 pm.

Please speak with Director Joan Galloway if you wish to join this dedicated group.

The Bell Choir strives to perform monthly or when Joan feels they are ready to present their seasonal or specially chosen music for the congregation to enjoy.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir meets for practice on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am, before the worship service.

Please speak with Director Cynthia Goosby if you wish to join this melodious group.

The Chancel Choir strives to perform biweekly or when Cynthia feels they are ready for singing with the members present.

Please feel welcome to join in our music ministries whether you are a summer visitor, full time resident, or snowbird.

Some other excellent elements to our Sunday Worship Services that you may experience:

Church members sign up to volunteer to serve as friendly Greeters-Ushers for our worship services.

During the worship service, a church member participates by reading one Scripture passage, and a different volunteer leads a brief announcement and welcoming time.

Other people volunteer to provide cookies and coffee for our Fellowship Time which is held after our worship services.

On the first Sunday of each month, Holy Communion is prepared by Elders to be served by our Pastor to all those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Additionally, we have a Youth Group ministry which serves children from the ages of 5 to 15. The Youth Group is involved with our services as the "family of the week", in singing at various services, holiday performances.
